Landscape Photography Workshop

Gain the skills to capture incredible landscape photographs with Kian from Raw Edge. In this 3 hour workshop you’ll learn about camera settings, image composition, and post production.

Total workshop price is $200, pay in full or choose to secure your spot with a $100 deposit.*

What level do I need to be at with my photography to take your workshop?

From beginner to intermediate, Kian will cater to suit your needs and experience.

What camera equipment do I need?

For our Landscape workshops you’ll need:
DSLR camera
Tripod
Laptop with Adobe lightroom
Remote trigger
Head Torch (for early morning or late afternoon shoots)

How long does the workshop go for?

Our Landscape workshop is 3 hours.
½ of the session is spent in the field and the other ½ is spent at our gallery for post processing images and an overview of the session.

How much do the workshops cost?

Landscape workshops are $200
These are 1 on 1 workshops with the availability to bring a friend, partner or family member for an additional $100 per workshop.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your workshop with the final balance owing 1 week prior.

Do you only do workshops in the Great Lakes?

Yes, at the moment our workshops are only conducted in the Great Lakes NSW.

What can I expect to gain by taking your courses?

You will learn about your camera’s settings, from shutter speed to aperture adjustments and ISO, you’ll gain the ability and knowledge to take full control of your camera - you’ll never need to use the auto button again.

You will gain an understanding of depth of field and how to get your images looking sharp.

We will teach you how to create long exposure images to capture movement in the sky, water, during lightning storms and even the Milky Way.

You’ll learn what to look for with weather patterns, tides, maps and some great apps to keep up to date on changing conditions.

Most importantly, we’ll teach you how to be creative with your images and show you how editing and post processing can create an end result with a real wow factor.

Most importantly, how to enjoy yourself learning and being creative in the amazing natural surrounds of the Great Lakes.
